just as i was about to give up on Yik Yak, i got a notification saying that 5 people voted my post up. This was surprising to me because it wasn't that impressive of a line of a poem, just something that was on my mind, because I had Chinese food for dinner the previous night and was watching funny turtle videos on the internet. It goes to show that poetry has to come from somewhere, and the poets who write these successful poems get they're inspiration from everyday things just like you and I.

This was a very interesting project, I didn't get the results i had hoped for, but you can't always get what you want.
